Contemporary Practice, Holistic Approach & Personal Expression

Modern Development &
Body Poetry

From the depth of tradition, a practice emerges that speaks to the people of today.

The Modern Evolution

Over the past decades, Thai Yoga Massage has continued to evolve through teachers who honored tradition while opening it to contemporary understanding.

Takis

Created spaces where Thai Yoga Massage could flourish in new ways and opened his house in Greece for new generations of Thai Massage practitioners and teachers to unfold in long retreats and immersive settings.
His work emphasises embodiment, continuity of practice, and the integration of meditation into daily life.

David Lutt

Founder of OsteoThai, David Lutt brought osteopathic principles, subtle listening, and refined anatomical awareness into Thai Yoga Massage.
His approach deepened the dialogue between structure, fluidity, and energetic presence.

Through these teachers and many others, Thai Yoga Massage entered a new phase — rooted, yet open; traditional, yet responsive to modern needs.

Additional Influences:

Along this path, further disciplines naturally found their way into the practice:

    •    Osteopathy and Craniosacral Therapy
    •    Biodynamic bodywork and BREEMA
    •    Somatic and trauma-sensitive approaches
    •    Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Five Elements
    •    Fascial and nervous system awareness
    •    Mindfulness, Vipassana, and Metta meditation

These influences do not replace tradition — they expand the field of listening.

Body Poetry - Our Own Approach

Body Poetry  is our own embodied approach, shaped by more than two decades of practice, study and lived experience.
It brings together different traditions into a clear, sensitive and contemporary form of bodywork.

Body Poetry brings together:

    •    Thai Yoga Massage
    •    Physiotherapy (state-certified since 2002)
    •    OsteoThai / OsteoThai Master Training
    •    Craniosacral Therapy
    •    Traditional Chinese Medicine
    •    Yoga, movement and breathwork
    •    Vipassana and Metta meditation

Body Poetry is not a technique or a method, but an attitude.
It is the art of meeting another human being — through clarity, sensitivity, and deep respect.

Qualities of our work:

    •    dynamic and static
    •    rhythmic and still
    •    deep listening and clear structure
    •    energetic, embodied and precise

Touch becomes communication.
Movement becomes dialogue.
Stillness becomes space.
